Plastic Suit Bubble People, eBook + Free Animation

What if everyone was finally safe… and nobody could feel a thing?

In a sparkling town not too far in the future, people keep getting hurt, fighting, and making a mess of things. So a well-meaning Inventor comes up with the perfect fix: the Plastic Suit Bubble.

It blocks out bad words and bad sights. It shields you from bee stings, falling apples, and speeding cars. It even lets you skip eye contact entirely. Soon everyone is wearing one, the Inventor is on every front page, and the Bubble Police make sure no one walks the streets unprotected.

But something isn't right. The smiles fade. The birds forget their songs. The people grow cold and empty, rolling past each other without a word. And the Inventor begins to wonder: What have I done?

The answer comes from the most unexpected place, his cat and her brand-new kittens, and it leads to his greatest invention yet.

Told in playful rhyme and brought to life with rich colored-pencil illustrations, Plastic Suit Bubble People is a funny, heartfelt satire about safety, comfort, and conformity, and what we lose when we stop letting the world touch us. It's a reminder for readers of every age that love and connection are worth the risk.

Includes a free animated version. Watch the whole story come to life, scene by scene, from the first bubble to the moment the city lights up again. Read it, then watch it together.
